A global tire technology and sustainable mobility solutions company is seeking a Tire / RE - Key Account Manager. The selected candidate will develop and execute sales plans, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to achieving overall sales goals. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets and maximise business growth for assigned accounts
- Ensure monthly target achievement and execution of promotional plans
- Balance volume growth with profitability in a sustainable manner
- Support the National Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies
- Build and maintain profitable relationships with customers; provide training and customer service
- Identify and negotiate with new customers, provide insights to internal teams, and manage local sales team development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business or Engineering
- More than 10 years of sales experience in a top-tier international company
- Prior experience in automotive/tire sales
- Experience working in an international company and interacting with senior-level customers
- Must be living in Japan for 5 years
- Possess a valid MBA qualification is a plus
- Native level Japanese (JLPT N1); fluent level English
