Head of Key Accounts
A global beverage company is looking for a Head of Key Accounts. The selected candidate will drive sales growth in the on-premise channel by developing strategic account plans, managing key accounts, and delivering business plan targets.
Responsibilities:
- Align international strategy and guidelines with HQ and local marketing insights
- Identify relevant channels and customers, and develop long-term visions to drive sales
- Create annual business plans, including budget, volume forecast, and activation plans for key accounts
- Maximise existing customer performance through joint business planning and acquire new customers
- Negotiate partnership agreements that create value for both the company and the customer
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to leverage business success
- Monitor account budgets, performance, and margins, implementing corrective actions when needed
- Track, analyse, and report on performance, opportunities, and Key Account Tracker updates
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to build brand affinity
- Lead by example and coach team members to maximise performance and results
- Ensure executional excellence on the account level using cross-departmental resources
- Align pricing and promotions to achieve national objectives while maintaining profitability
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- More than 7 years of sales experience
- Proven track record in sales, trade marketing, and leading field sales teams
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Proficient in Japanese
Preferred requirements:
- Previous experience in the beverage industry
- Prior experience in Key Account Management
- Experience developing and implementing sales and trade marketing strategies
- Proficient in written and verbal English
