リニューアルバースアカウントマネージャ/ Renewals Account Manager
A Renewal Account Manager role is now open in a global software company. The selected applicant will play a key part in driving customer renewal engagement while performing account management responsibilities. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve renewal quota and renewal objectives, such as on-time renewals and escalated contract renewals
- Develop and execute effective MEDDPICC renewal plans for accounts in conjunction with Sales and Customer Success teams
- Identify expansion opportunities and work closely with customers to support cross-sell and up-sell opportunities or hand over opportunities to Sales Account Managers
- Manage the renewals process end-to-end for assigned customers, from initial contact through on-time close
- Maintain accurate data in Salesforce regarding customer renewal information, renewal status, and renewal reports
- Establish and drive trusted customer relationships and ensure timely escalation of issues through to resolution
- Build and maintain positive internal relationships with Customer Success, Sales Account Managers, and Channel Partners
- Support evolving renewal processes aimed at improving renewal efficiency
- Provide accurate reporting for late renewals, renewal migration, and churn, including reasons for cancellation for analysis
- Provide assistance to the sales team related to global accounts within the assigned territory
Requirements:
- More than 5 years of demonstrated success in a Technical Sales or Customer Success capacity (Enterprise Software background is preferred)
- More than 2 years of demonstrated success in Renewals, Inside Sales or Account Manager role (Enterprise Software background is preferred)
- Proven direct sales experience, including building relationships with and selling to the enterprise level (calling on VP Operations, CTO, CIO and other Executives
- Proven ability to work at a detailed level with multiple cross-functional internal stakeholders, as well as the customer, to drive the renewal performance
- Proficient knowledge and the application of renewal process, policies and pricing
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Native level Japanese; business level English
Preferred Requirements:
- SaaS and Industrial or Enterprise Software experience
- Experience selling into the Utilities, Energy, Process, Pharma, Food and Beverage, Discrete or Transportation industries
- Experience using Salesforce
