A global consumer goods company is seeking an Account Manager. The selected candidate will manage key accounts, drive market share, and develop customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key accounts end-to-end, delivering on volume, market share, and profit expectations
- Build and nurture relationships with key customer staff and board members
- Lead account strategy, collaborating with teams to create specific business plans
- Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure balanced investment utilisation
- Coach and develop direct reports, ensuring organisational progression
- Work closely with the activation team on strategy and implementation
Requirements:
- Experience in trade marketing in a managerial role within an international company (KAM and in the FMCG sector is ideal)
- Prior experience in route-to-market planning and review
- Proven global travel retail experience is preferred
- Knowledge of all elements of the marketing mix
- Understanding of all inter-related company functions (supply chain, marketing finance, IT, customer service, etc.)
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Fluent level English and Japanese
