A global technology leader is seeking a Global Account Manager to oversee and grow key manufacturing accounts. The selected candidate will develop and execute strategic plans, manage client relationships, and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for clients
- Monitor account performance and ensure alignment with contractual agreements
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance and opportunities
- Develop and present Account Plan Reviews (APR)
- Understand clients' business challenges and provide consultative solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on account status and market conditions
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development
- Experience in sales for manufacturing companies in Japan
- Proven track record with large, complex accounts and achieving sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
- Native level Japanese; business level English
