A global engineering simulation software company is seeking a Senior Account Manager (SAM). The selected candidate will drive new and existing business by integrating advanced simulation products into customers’ engineering environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sales activities, establish, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers
- Maintain renewal business and generate new business within an assigned territory or set of accounts to achieve revenue objectives
- Create and execute strategies to connect solutions to customer challenges
- Present the value of products/services through tailored sales presentations
- Build relationships with business leaders and customer executives
- Coordinate sales efforts with various internal departments globally
- Develop and maintain account plans, highlighting growth opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in technical, engineering, business, or related field
- 4-6 years of related experience
- Knowledge of products/services and pricing practices
- Understanding of engineering analysis and technology
- Experience in formulating and executing sales strategies
- Proven success in technical sales positions
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Fluent level English and Japanese
