An Account Manager position is now available at an international tech company. The chosen candidate will be responsible for driving sales and business opportunities across the local region. This position is based in Tokyo.
Responsibilities:
- Handle client database maintenance
- Ensure strong customer relationships across executive level of the organisation
- Work with sales engineers and manage proposal quotation, tender, and finalisation preparations
- Oversee both legal and financial negotiations
- Support the financial department on outstanding collection-related concerns
- Conduct market share, pricing, and competition monitoring
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (geology, geophysics, petroleum engineering, or related sector)
- 5-7 years of experience in sales (upstream oil and gas, digital, IT, or tech is ideal) or technical in ccs, ccus, geothermal, or relevant engineering domain (AI or ML is advantageous)
- Background in Saas, software licence, or tech consulting services sales
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Native level Japanese; Intermediate written and verbal English
