A global provider of transportation system and services is searching for an Automotive Account Manager. This role will be accountable for developing and implementing sales strategies for the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Foster good client relationships with assigned accounts
- Identify business opportunities and position the company within the industry
- Conduct strategic account planning and implementation
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams in business executions
- Manage client tenders with the technical sales team
- Oversee lead synchronisation with tier 1 customers
- Provide appropriate market information with colleagues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or engineering
- 6+ years of professional experience in the automotive industry
- Prior experience in project and customer relationship management
- Experience in solution selling to OEMs (Tier 1)
- Understanding of the automotive and telecom industry
- Skilled in CRM tools (Salesforce or Siebel)
- Possess communication and negotiation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Proficient in Japanese and English
