An automotive supplier is currently recruiting for the role of Account Manager. Reporting to the Director of Accounts, this position is responsible for leading designated elements within a global account team to achieve effective customer relationships and business objectives.
- Represent the customer providing the necessary information to relevant functions, tracking responses to customer issues
- Maintain customer database (pricing/contacts) and communicate with relevant internal functions
- Provide input to the account planning process, e.g., budget, demand planning
- Review and understand implications of customer agreements, license agreements, etc.
- Support the development and execution of customer strategy
- A university degree in a relevant technical or commercial field
- 5+ years customer-facing sales experience, preferably in automotive
- Fluency in English; Japanese and/or other language support preferred
- Willingness to travel (domestic & global)
