A multinational software organization is searching for an experienced software sales professional to join their team as an Account Manager. In this position, the successful applicant will build a sales pipeline to drive the further development of a global company.
- Define and execute territory/account sales plans for assigned geographic territory; meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities within Japan
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline; prospect and assess sales and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline
- Manage and track customers and transactional information in a CRM system
- Nurture and expand the company’s relationship with customer accounts of all sizes
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field preferred
- 8-10 years’ software sales experience including both transactional sales and strategic selling
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a drive to succeed
- A history of achieving sales goals across a large geographic territory
