An international software development company is seeking a strong salesperson with a talent for understanding customer needs. As a Major Account Manager, the successful applicant will develop strategies to grow revenue in a large global organization.
- Develop and execute a strategic and comprehensive business plan for each account, including identifying core customer requirements and mapping the benefits of the company solutions to business requirements
- Strive to understand the customer’s organizational structure and work to achieve alignment
- Take full responsibility for accurate forecasting, regular quarterly revenue delivery and facilitation of sales
- Coach partners and access resources within the company to support them on specific opportunities with a goal of building sufficient capacity to meet customers’ demands for company-related services and skills
- Experience with structured sales techniques spanning the entire sales cycle from identification and qualification of opportunities to business development and order fulfilment
- Proven ability to create a pipeline and close sales
- Proven account management abilities and a demonstrable track record of sales campaign deliveries
- Previous leadership experience preferred
