HSSEアドバイザー/ HSSE Advisor

A foreign professional services company is searching for an HSSE Advisor. The selected candidate will oversee and implement HSSE initiatives, ensuring compliance with legislation, company management systems, and client requirements. This is a temp-to-perm role.

Responsibilities:

• Act as directed on all HSSE matters in Japan and associated project locations
• Provide first aid and acute pre-hospital care at project locations
• Champion all HSSE-related initiatives, plans, and campaigns
• Liaise with clients and internal departments regarding HSSE matters
• Develop project-related HSSE risk assessments, plans, and procedures
• Improve workforce HSSE awareness
• Advise management of HSSE deficiencies and assist with improvement plans
• Perform incident investigation and reporting
• Participate in management, HSSE, and project meetings
• Review and advise management on client and contractual HSSE requirements
• Perform internal HSSE audits and participate in external audits
• Conduct site inspections
• Support internal and external customers on all HSSE matters to enable compliance with legislation, company systems, and client requirements

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of professional experience directly related to the role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Eligible to act in the HSSE Advisor role according to local legislation
• Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous working experience as a paramedic, or emergency medical technician, offshore medic, or nurse in an emergency department setting
• Qualification in quality management, health and safety management, environmental management, risk management, or related offshore/nearshore/subsea discipline
• Knowledge of the offshore/nearshore survey environment
