研究コーディネーター/ Research Coordinator

A multinational luxury cosmetic brand is looking for a Research Coordinator – Sensory Research & Cosmetic Expert Evaluation. The selected candidate will coordinate sensory research, evaluate product formulas, and provide data-driven insights to support product development and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and operate sensory research sessions with trained Japanese panels
• Plan, prepare, and execute panel trainings and research sessions in collaboration with international labs
• Facilitate group exercises and discussions, refining sensory attributes as needed
• Analyse sensory data, create reports, and present results to relevant departments
• Evaluate development formulas and guide texture and product adjustments
• Monitor and assess competitors’ products to identify market trends and provide actionable insights
• Support innovation projects by providing sensory feedback to the Japan lab and international teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 3 years of experience in marketing or product development in FMCG or cosmetics
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in the field of sensory analysis or qualitative and/or quantitative research
• Prior experience in statistical analysis and reporting
• Expertise in product planning, development, and sensorial evaluation
• Advanced knowledge in sensory data collection and statistical software (e.g. SIMS 2000, XLSTAT, Eye Question, FIZZ, SAS)
