プロジェクトエンジニア/ Project Engineer

A Project Engineer position is now available at a multinational chemical manufacturer. The selected applicant will be responsible for organising and supervising the engineering team for various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Organise project team with Project Manager for small to large-scale project execution
• Supervise and coordinate engineering activities
• Manage internal and external interfaces of the project
• Drive the overall project strategy in cooperation with the Project Manager
• Ensure implementation of lessons learnt from previous projects
• Ensure high-quality completion of project engineering
• Minimise change orders from suppliers and subcontractors
• Create a transparent and open communication culture amongst the Project, and local Engineering Disciplines within due time

Requirements:

• Prior EP/EPC industry experience
• Operational management experience
• Business lines and business development experiences
• Experience in the management of large teams
• Experience in a customer-facing role
• Native level Japanese; business level English
