セールスエンジニア/ Sales Engineer
An international industrial materials company is looking for a Sales Engineer. The selected candidate will drive sales growth by promoting hard and super-hard materials, developing new customer opportunities, and providing technical guidance throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop individual sales plans and achieve targets by executing them
- Conduct product demonstrations and deliver presentations highlighting technical features and benefits
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers in selecting appropriate tooling and solutions
- Utilise value-added sales techniques and negotiation skills to build trust and develop a sales funnel
- Maintain existing customer relationships while proactively prospecting for new opportunities
- Update CRM and report sales activities to support pipeline development and budget achievement
- Understand customer requirements and stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute new strategic and marketing initiatives
- Drive conversion of new customers and new application opportunities into orders and revenue
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- More than 5 years of corporate technical sales experience or relevant industry experience
- Proficient in literacy, computer skills, and CRM tools
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% within Japan
- Possess a valid driver’s licence
- Native level Japanese; proficient in English
Preferred requirements:
- Background in Engineering, Mechanical or Material Technology
- Experience in process manufacturing or toolmaking industries
