A global chemical company is searching for an experienced individual to join them in a Technical Sales role. Leveraging your sales experience and technical expertise, you will manage assigned customers and provide technical support while serving as a technical resource.
- Manage assigned (battery grade) customers, including contract and delivery specification negotiations, volume/price management, and quality issue coordination
- Lead ad hoc projects arising from commercial and/or technical issues
- Provide technical support for strategic and core customers
- Serve as a technical resource for the commercial team; contribute to meetings by offering in-depth understanding of product function or application * Accompany account manager during service visit
- 10+ years’ experience in sales or technical support, i.e., customer interfacing
- Experience in the lithium-ion battery industry or chemical industry (automotive) preferred
- Cross-cultural experience
- Japanese and English fluency
