クリエーションセンターマネージャー/ Creation Centre Manager

An international chemical company is looking for a Creation Centre Manager. The selected candidate will oversee facility management, engage with designers and innovators, and drive business opportunities through material showcases and collaborations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the Creation Centre facility, ensuring safety, organisation, and efficiency
• Organise and execute seminars, workshops, and customer events to showcase material innovations
• Promote the Creation Centre through exhibitions, media, and networking to expand industry relationships
• Develop creative problem-solving strategies in collaboration with internal and external partners
• Stay updated on market, design, and material trends, sharing insights with customers to position the company as a solution provider
• Support early-stage customer design and product development projects to promote material solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Design
• More than 8 years of experience with strong connections in Japan’s design community
• Proven experience in Japanese design knowledge and insights
• Knowledge of thermoplastics and CMF materials
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and prototyping programs preferred
• Native level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English
