ケミカルアプリケーションエンジニア/ Chemical Application Engineer

A Chemical Application Engineer position is now available at a global adhesives manufacturer. The chosen candidate will serve as the primary technical liaison for customers across APAC and handle chemical application operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct essential lab tests or experiments to support technical activities
• Communicate technical information effectively to drive technical activities forward
• Support customers in the field with product trials and training
• Ensure alignment of customer activities with the global team, facilitating global cohesion
• Translate customer requirements into Bostik products and services, enhancing customer satisfaction
• Lead technical projects for customers, meeting timelines and deliverables
• Coordinate problem resolution for product or technical service issues
• Lead Water Base Adhesive (WBA) technology efforts in Japan
• Monitor competitors’ technologies offered to customers to stay updated

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in polymer science, material science, or related chemical field
• Direct experience with customers and field situations is ideal
• Experience in new technology or product industrialisation is a plus
• Background with paints, adhesives, or plastic development is desired
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
• Proficient in Japanese and written and verbal English
