EHSマネージャー / EHS Manager

A global environmental services company is looking for an EHS Manager. The selected candidate will oversee safety, quality, and environmental compliance, ensuring policies and procedures are followed across all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies
• Collaborate with SQE, Production, and other departments on quality control and safety practices
• Implement company policies and goals in alignment with management and stakeholders
• Uphold company values and demonstrate expected behavioral traits
• Report to management as required
• Travel to various sites and customer locations as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in chemistry, occupational safety, environmental science, or a relevant domain
• More than 5 years of experience in chemical, manufacturing industry
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Background in compliance management
• Prior background in storage handling, GHS labelling, and transport of dangerous goods
• Understanding of workplace safety and environmental legislative requirements
• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.)
• Familiarity with NATA accreditation requirements and protocols
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in written and spoken Japanese and English
