アプリケーションサイエンティスト/ Application Scientist

A global life sciences company is seeking an Application Scientist. The role focuses on bridging scientific expertise with real-world use cases, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving data-driven decision-making. This is a remote role.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a scientific liaison between research innovation and industrial applications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members and regulatory stakeholders
• Collaborate with partners to exchange data and scientific insights
• Identify new application opportunities through joint problem-solving
• Deliver training on software applications and scientific methodologies
• Promote in silico approaches through scientific communication and advocacy

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Background in chemistry
• Knowledge of chemical structures and the application of in silico predictions
• Understanding of toxicology, metabolism, degradation, and organic reaction mechanisms
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Fluent level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• More than 2 years of experience in external communications
