A renowned international R&D organisation is seeking an Applications Scientist. The selected candidate will provide scientific support to customers while driving advancements in computational modeling.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver scientific support, including software demonstrations and customer guidance
• Troubleshoot and adapt modeling workflows and environments
• Contribute to research initiatives and advise on best practices in computational modeling
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Product Managers, and Marketing to support strategies
• Publish scientific papers and present at conferences and exhibitions
• Conduct and support contract analysis and research services

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or above in molecular simulation of materials science, or a relevant domain
• Experience in Python programming
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Native level Japanese; proficient in English
