アシスタントHRマネージャー/ Assistant HR Manager
A global hospitality company is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager. The selected candidate will support recruitment, payroll administration, employee relations, training initiatives, and HR operations to ensure a positive and compliant workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment process including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding
- Work with department leaders to understand hiring needs and workforce planning
- Maintain recruitment pipelines and manage candidate communication
- Process monthly payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance with Japanese labour regulations
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Manage attendance records, leave administration, and HR system updates
- Coordinate employee health checks and required stool testing for food and beverage staff
- Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies and procedures
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communication
- Assist with employee relations matters while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and colleague orientation programs
- Support the organisation and administration of training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Japanese labour laws
- Prepare HR reports and support audits when required
- Assist the Human Resources Director with various HR initiatives and projects
Requirements:
- Experience in Human Resources, preferably within hospitality or service industry
- Experience handling payroll processes
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Fluent level Japanese; business level English
