Head of People

A global beverage company is looking for a Head of People. The selected candidate will lead and oversee all aspects of people operations, from talent acquisition to off-boarding, while driving strategic HR initiatives to support business growth in Japan and New Zealand.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and implement HR initiatives that align with the company's mission and strategic vision
• Develop long-term HR plans and strategies to support business objectives
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on organisational and management issues
• Collaborate with executive management to plan and execute management succession strategies
• Develop strategic recruitment and retention plans to meet business human capital needs
• Design and implement competitive and cost-effective compensation and benefits programs
• Lead the HR function, overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, and leadership development across multiple regions

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of human resources or people management experience in a global environment
• Strong communication skills to build relationships with employees and stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability to influence and navigate cross-functional teams to achieve goals
• Bias for action and continuous improvement mindset
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English
