Head of Human Resources & General Affairs

An international medical aesthetics and healthcare company is looking for a Head of Human Resources & General Affairs (Director). The selected candidate will lead the full HR and GA strategy to drive talent development, organisational growth, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute talent development and succession planning frameworks
• Drive learning and development programs, including leadership training and career pathways
• Advise the Country Manager on workforce planning, organisation design, and engagement strategy
• Localise and implement global HR strategies in alignment with Japanese labour regulations
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employer branding, and employee engagement initiatives
• Lead performance management, incentive programs, and compensation benchmarking
• Direct General Affairs functions, including office management, governance, vendors, and compliance
• Manage HR operations, including payroll, HRIS, personnel records, and global HR alignment

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of HR experience
• More than 5 years of leadership role experience within healthcare, medical devices, or pharma
• Proven experience in talent development, learning & development, and succession planning
• Skilled in Japanese labour law compliance, HR best practices, workforce planning, and organisational design
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
