An international luxury hospitality company is searching for an HR Assistant Director. The successful candidate will be partnering with ExCom and Department Heads in people related matters to meet the operation’s business objectives and financial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the formulation of people strategies that align with business objectives and execute these strategies
- Handle all facets of People and Culture initiatives which include running a variety of workplace programmes
- Business partner with department heads to provide quality consulting in line with business strategies and objectives
- Keep up to date on best practices, labour law and legislation changes
- Handle all grievances, compliance issues and investigations
- Handle for overall planning, organisation and administration of compensation, benefits, performance, and data management programmes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources Management
- More than 7 years of experience in HR Management or hotel operations
- More than 3 years of managerial capacity experience
- Background in related Japanese Law, especially Japanese Labour Law
- Understanding of company mission and philosophy
- Knowledge and concept of management practice in hospitality industry is ideal
- Fluent level English and Japanese
