A leading global provider of strategic market research is seeking an HR & Office Manager. The selected candidate will manage HR queries, payroll, recruitment, and office operations while ensuring compliance and driving employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers
- Partner with managers to enhance performance and support HR administration
- Maintain HR Information System with accurate staff details and records
- Oversee accurate reflection of compensation and benefits in payroll
- Maintain payroll records and handle related inquiries
- Manage recruitment processes including resume screening and interview scheduling
- Coordinate with agencies and job ad websites for recruitment needs
- Approve supplier invoices and employee expenses per company policy
- Set up payments, liaise with vendors, and manage bank statements
- Update office cost forecasts and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Supervise and train the Back Office Assistant
- Manage office facilities, procurement, and vendor contracts
- Plan office events and support CSR initiatives
- Handle Health & Safety matters and improve office admin procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or Office Manager
- Experience in global organisations and cross-cultural teams
- Knowledge of Japanese labour laws and accounting principles
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR/payroll software
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Fluent level Japanese and English (TOEIC 865+)
