A global consumer goods company is searching for an Employee Relations Manager. The qualified individual will develop Labour Relations Strategy and advise management on ER matters for business continuity. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Inform management and P&C team about labour changes
- Lead negotiations with employee bodies on policies, benefits, and organisational changes
- Update management on organisational sensing and guide on ER issues
- Ensure deployment of key P&C products
- Lead implementation of ER cases
- Manage projects closely with relevant stakeholders
- Participate in labour-related events as required by law
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 5-10 years of experience in working for larger, multinational companies
- In-depth knowledge on Japanese Labour law and court and labour body processes in Japan
- Extensive experience in P&C policies and processes
- Experience in representing the company in front of various labour bodies in Japan
- Stakeholder management skills
- Strong negotiation skills
