Head of Talent Acquisition

A multinational semiconductor company is seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end talent acquisition activities and drive employer branding, diversity, and early career initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business and workforce plans
• Manage and mentor a team to ensure a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all hiring activities
• Build partnerships with universities and technical institutes to strengthen early career pipelines
• Collaborate with business leaders and HR partners to align hiring needs and provide market insights
• Optimise recruitment systems, tools, and analytics to enhance process efficiency and compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (MBA is ideal)
• More than 10 years of experience in talent acquisition
• More than 4 years of experience in a leadership role
• Experience designing and implementing successful university and early-career talent programs in Japan
• Knowledge of the Japanese education system and campus recruitment landscape
• Fluent level Japanese; business level written and spoken English
