Head of Talent Management

An international chemical manufacturer is searching for a Head of Talent Management. the chosen applicant will develop and execute talent management strategies in alignment with the organisation’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with HRBPs to understand workforce planning and resource forecasting
• Identify skills gaps within the workforce and develop effective strategies for addressing them
• Lead talent acquisition efforts, including employer branding, recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent management programs and drive continuous improvements
• Identify high-potential employees and create development plans to nurture their skills and career growth
• Develop and implement effective employee retention programs and strategies
• Provide coaching and mentorship to key talent and managers on talent development and performance management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 7 years of experience as TA Manager, TD Manager, or HR related Consultant in a multinational environment
• Experience in other HR fields (HRBP or HR Director of a smaller-sized company is preferred
• Experience in Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
• Experience in talent acquisition activities through social media
• Experience in handling M&As is advantageous
• Experience in the construction or chemical industry and manufacturing environment is a plus
• Native level Japanese; business level English
