HR給与担当マネージャー/ HR Payroll Manager
A global professional services company is looking for a Payroll Manager. The selected candidate will manage payroll services, lead a team, and deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients for HR & Payroll services
- Review deliverables to key clients and ensure quality and timely delivery
- Maintain relationships with clients, supervisors, and internal/external stakeholders
- Coordinate with APAC Payroll teams and resolve issues with stakeholders
- Analyse customer-specific demands and provide value-added solutions
- Supervise, coach, and allocate work to Assistant Managers and Managers
- Implement internal control procedures and train team members
- Monitor team productivity and drive continuous improvement
- Assist the Director in business development and prepare proposals
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and manage invoices and collections
- Provide authorised signatory for payment instructions
- Collaborate with HR on recruitment, performance reviews, and employee relations
- Attend seminars for networking and professional development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Accountancy, or related discipline
- 7-10 years of payroll services experience in outsourcing
- Experience handling local employment regulations, tax practices, pension, and related issues
- Experience in people management
- Possess a valid professional qualification
- Proficient in Japanese and English (TOEIC 860+)
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in multiple payrolls/Asia Pacific region payroll
- Proficient in payroll software and payroll e-system enhancement
