報酬・福利厚生部門ディレクター/ Total Rewards Director
A global semiconductor company is seeking a Director, Total Rewards Japan. The selected candidate will lead and execute the organisation’s total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, and executive programs, while partnering with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with organisational goals
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on compensation and benefits trends in Japan
- Lead, mentor, and foster a performance-driven Total Rewards team
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to ensure competitive compensation practices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external consultants and vendors
- Promote employee understanding and satisfaction with compensation and benefits offerings
- Design, implement, and manage compensation structures including base pay, bonus, and benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and global corporate governance
- Support executive compensation, including preparing materials for the Compensation Committee
- Coordinate global compensation programs and annual compensation planning
- Monitor program budgets and evaluate effectiveness, cost efficiency, and strategic alignment
- Develop and deliver communications and training materials in English and Japanese
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- More than 12 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits,
- More than 5 years of experience in a managerial role
- Experience in executive compensation, including benchmarking and supporting Compensation Committee decisions
- Proficient in managing multiple complex projects
- Familiarity with C&B tools, analytics platforms, and HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Fluent level Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
- Advanced degree or professional certification (CCP, CEBS)
