A global insurance company is looking for a Head of Compensation & Benefits. The selected candidate will oversee the strategic alignment of compensation strategies across operations within the region.
Responsibilities:
- Provide market intelligence on compensation trends
- Develop competitive offer packages with recruiters
- Evaluate and advise on employee compensation strategies
- Communicate compensation details to managers and employees
- Analyse salary and benefits surveys for competitiveness
- Evaluate job levels and benchmark against industry standards
- Respond to inquiries on policies and market data
- Establish guidelines for compensation processes
- Collaborate on compensation program design and implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Master’s degree is ideal)
- More than 10 years of experience in compensation (financial services industry or large corporate setting is ideal)
- Experience designing, analysing, and executing various compensation plans and structures (salary structures and incentive pay programs)
- Prior experience in finance
- Knowledge of total rewards (base pay, variable pay programs, and benefits)
- Native level Japanese; business level English
