A leading global financial services organization is looking for an Employee Relations Manager. This position is responsible for delivering comprehensive and efficient E&LR solutions for all of Japan, while working closely with the top executives of global and Japan HR departments. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a multinational, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex employment relations cases
- Provide ER advice to the HR team in different areas of their roles
- Support the implementation of global organizational change initiatives
- Deliver ER training to leaders and employees
- Identify opportunities to reduce ER risk and research and develop strategies to mitigate it
- Review and update HR policies and procedures
- Respond to HR/ER enquiries
Requirements:
- Experience in managing employment relations cases and/or conducting investigations in response to employee complaints
- Understanding of the Japanese Employee Relations legislative framework and regulations
- Desire to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Business level fluency in both Japanese and English
- Tertiary HR qualifications or equivalent HR/ER experience
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, email systems and HR systems
