HRBP/ HRBP

A renowned financial services company is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner. The selected candidate will drive strategic HR initiatives, manage employee relations, and support talent and organisational development across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Advise leadership on HR strategy, organisational development, and cultural alignment
• Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labor regulations
• Manage employee relations issues including investigations, documentation, and resolution
• Support workforce planning, performance management, and compensation processes
• Partner with recruitment teams on hiring, onboarding, and talent integration
• Analyse HR data to provide insights and collaborate with global stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 10 years of HR experience (including hands on experience as an HR Business Partner or in HR roles focused on business support or strategic HR)
• Experience supporting businesses within financial institutions (securities firms, banks, or other global financial services organisations)
• Understanding of Japan regulatory and local employment/labor law and global HR policies
• Proficient in HRIS systems
• Skilled in MS Office Suite
• Business level English; professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience providing HR support to Equities, Research, Equity Capital Markets, and/or other front office businesses
• Prior experience supporting joint ventures, organisational setup, or transformation environments
