HRBP/ HRBP

A renowned medical device manufacturer is looking for an HR Business Partner. The selected candidate will lead end-to-end HR operations, strategic partnership, and employee lifecycle management while ensuring compliance and alignment with business goals. This is a remote role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead HR setup initiatives including payroll, benefits, and policy alignment for Japan
• Manage employee transitions during M&A, divestitures, and organisational changes
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and vendor performance
• Partner with leadership to drive workforce strategy and organisational effectiveness
• Support talent management, performance reviews, and succession planning
• Handle employee relations, compliance, and change management initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above is ideal
• More than 5 years of experience in HR (HRBP and HR Operations)
• Experience managing payroll and benefits through third-party providers
• Prior experience with M&A, employee conveyance, or country setup/exit activities
• Proven experience in a multinational, matrixed, or high-growth organisations
• Knowledge of employment law, TUPE, and cross-border employee transfers
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess valid HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, SPHR, or equivalent)
