労務関係パートナー/Labour Relations Partner

A multinational pharmaceutical company is looking for a Labour Relations Partner. The selected candidate will oversee labour relations activities, ensuring compliance with Japanese labour laws and fostering positive employee and union relations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute social dialogue processes in line with Japanese labour laws and company policies
• Provide expert guidance on labour relations matters to management and People & Culture teams
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with the labour union
• Support compensation cycle management and ensure compliance with local labour requirements
• Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements and labour contracts
• Manage employee grievances and disciplinary processes in accordance with regulations
• Collaborate with business leaders to develop labour strategies aligned with organisational goals
• Stay updated on Japanese labour laws to maintain compliance
• Support change management initiatives from a labour relations perspective

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Law, or related field
• More than 5 years of experience in labour relations
• Prior experience in collective bargaining and managing labour union relationships
• Experience working in multinational organisations preferred
• Strong knowledge of Japanese labour laws, regulations, and employment practices
• Proficient in Japanese and English
