M&Aシニアディレクター/ M&A Senior Director

A global real estate and data centre investment company is looking for an M&A Senior Director. The selected candidate will lead acquisition and divestiture strategies, execute end-to-end transactions, drive investment analysis, and manage stakeholder relationships to support growth objectives. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Own and execute acquisition and divestiture strategies including joint ventures and strategic partnerships
• Lead end-to-end investment lifecycle from origination to execution including structuring and negotiations
• Source and develop pipeline opportunities within real estate and data centre sectors
• Present investment opportunities and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
• Prepare investment proposals in coordination with compliance and legal teams
• Structure and negotiate transaction documentation to support value creation and revenue generation
• Oversee due diligence and closing processes with all relevant parties
• Conduct detailed investment analysis and underwriting to assess risk and return profiles
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams, partners, developers, and external stakeholders
• Collect and analyse market data to identify trends and forecast industry developments
• Review and evaluate existing portfolio assets to support disposition and value enhancement strategies
• Collaborate with management and acquisition teams on investment and asset management matters
• Provide mentorship and analytical guidance to the Asset Management team
• Engage and influence global and APAC stakeholders within a matrix organisation

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of experience in investment and divestiture transactions within commercial real estate and/or data centres, including underwriting, valuation, and due diligence
• Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights
• Proven communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues and influence diverse stakeholders
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Possess a valid relevant professional qualification
