An international consumer goods company is searching for a Business Lead. The selected applicant will be responsible for managing franchise, travel retail, and wholesale businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Manage franchise business operations across Japan and Korea
• Develop and control channel budgets (Sell-Out, Sell-In, Royalty, Marketing Expenses) and drive P/L improvement initiatives
• Monitor sales performance and prepare weekly and monthly internal reports
• Coordinate new product line-ups and adjust supply plans with overseas suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with global brand guidelines, including store design and marketing tools
• Support import operations into Korea, including product registration and regulatory documentation
• Handle trade agreement–related matters, including EPA and FTA
• Develop and expand the travel retail business in Japan and Korea, including airport duty-free and in-flight channels
• Propose products and pricing strategies for travel retail customers
• Manage travel retail sales performance, analyse results, and implement cost reduction initiatives
• Negotiate with and support local business partners in daily operations
• Source travel retail–exclusive products from overseas suppliers
• Conduct business negotiations and sales expansion initiatives with wholesale partners
• Provide business and operational support for Australia and APAC markets
• Manage and develop a team of three members through guidance and performance management

Requirements:

• Experience in operating or supporting franchise businesses in overseas markets
• Sales or marketing experience within consumer goods or branded product industries
• Basic knowledge and understanding of international trade operations, including Incoterms
• Understanding of business practices, distribution structures, and consumer behaviour in the Japanese & Korean market
• Basic knowledge of trade agreements such as EPA and FTA
• Experience conducting tenders for international transportation
• People management experience
• Business level Japanese and English
