小売マーチャンダイジングマネージャー/ Retail Merchandising Manager

A multinational footwear retail company is looking for a Retail Merchandising Manager for Men’s. The selected candidate will manage product selection and procurement, monitor sales and inventory, and develop assortment strategies to achieve sales targets and maximise profits.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse sales data, pricing, and market trends to identify opportunities
• Develop assortment plans tailored to the Japanese market based on store capacity and volume
• Forecast and place inventory orders, including new styles and re-buys
• Collaborate with wholesale, franchise, e-commerce, visual, marketing, and operations teams to align product offerings and brand standards
• Monitor sales performance and inventory to adjust assortment and achieve financial goals
• Research competitors, conduct store visits, and gather feedback to enhance product performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 8 years of merchandising buying experience, preferably in retail and within footwear
• Proficient in retail math, pricing, costing, packaging, QA, and product safety standards
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends
• Passion for customer service
• Advanced computer skills (Excel pivot tables/v-lookups, Word, Internet)
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in written and verbal English
