A renowned software services company is looking for an Aerospace Business Development professional. The selected candidate will drive strategic growth, manage key relationships, and align business strategies with market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Develop growth strategies and plans to expand market ecosystems, including government and academic sectors
- Manage and retain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders in the market
- Increase client base through new acquisitions, product expansion, partnerships, and displacement strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Sales, ACE, Marketing, and partners, to enhance customer experience
- Align the company's mission with market trends and clients' digital transformation agendas
- Negotiate with stakeholders and present business propositions effectively
- Identify and map business strengths, customer needs, and opportunities for expansion
- Research industry trends and viable income streams for white space growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 4-8 years of experience in sales or business development
- Proven track record in business development activities achieving growth targets
- Knowledge of defence acquisition processes and the roles of JMoD/ATLA
- Ability to participate in strategy development and lead the achievement of critical objectives
- Passion for Japan's defence and safety
- Fluent level English and Japanese
