EWIKON Japan is searching for a sales manager for the Kanto region of Japan. The candidate who enters this role will be responsible for a variety of sales activities such as new account development, technical presentations, communicating with customers, etc.
- Conduct sales of EWIKON Hotrunner Systems in the northern region of the Japanese mainland
- Develop new accounts and cultivate existing accounts within the territory assigned
- Make sales and technical presentations of our products to customers, potential customers, trade associations etc. for the purpose of developing new business
- Advise customers on the proper interface of EWIKON systems to customer’s moulds etc.
- Ensure proper start-ups and maintenance of new equipment by attending trials and runs and arranging and conducting customer-training seminars
- Meet or exceed sales quotas assigned to territory of responsibility
- Set-up follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments
- Create sales materials to present to customers
- Carry out sales based on technical merits
- Experience in sales or project management of mechanical products (injection molding and hotrunner system experience preferred)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s license
