An international industrial technology and machinery manufacturer is searching for an individual with a background in direct B2B capital equipment sales. As a Sales Representative, you will leverage your knowledge of food and beverage process engineering to further grow a global business.
- Report the country manager and work closely with the service manager to establish business with new and existing customers in Japan
- Leverage market information, identify/implement business strategies and make plans in line with corporate strategies to grow the target market segment
- Plan and implement key account strategies to strengthen business relationships with major current and high potential customers
- Maintain strong communication and cohesive teamwork among sales and aftermarket teams in the region and divisions
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in food science, chemical, electrical, mechanical engineering or related fields (preferred but not essential)
- 10+ years’ relevant work experience; approximately 5 years of direct sales experience in B2B capital equipment, preferably in the food and beverage sector
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage process engineering and experience in equipment integration, servicing and solutions
- Fluency in English
