An international irrigation systems manufacturer is in need of a strong sales professional. In the role of Area Sales Manager, the successful candidate will drive sales in an assigned area by building strong client relationships and innovative marketing campaigns.
- Calling on current and potential distributors, build and maintain relationships with distributors
- Educate distributor personnel on the company’s products and purchasing promotions
- Identify and meet with key market stakeholders
- Advertise and promote products
- Evaluate the local market and provide recommendations on pricing promotions, product introductions and provide strategic planning recommendations for the market
- BA/BS degree
- 8+ years’ successful specification and/or sales experience
- Good working knowledge of personal computers and commonly used business software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English
