カスタマークオリティエンジニア/ Customer Quality Engineer

A global technology manufacturer is looking for a Customer Quality Engineer. The selected candidate will manage customer quality requirements, develop inspection standards, and liaise with customers regarding quality issues.

Responsibilities:

• Understand customer quality manuals and procedures
• Analyse customer specifications, testing methods, and procedures
• Support program management and communicate with customers in Japan on quality, testing, and validation
• Develop and negotiate customer inspection standards
• Educate customers on internal standards and company capabilities
• Inspect product defects, lead discussions on countermeasures, and report findings to Headquarters
• Track PPM and generate reports
• Develop 8D reports in collaboration with QE at Headquarters and submit to customers
• Manage sorting and inspection at customer sites, including coordination with contract companies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (mechanical or electrical engineering)
• More than 3 years of experience in customer quality with Japanese auto manufacturers is ideal
• Experience in manufacturing industry (automotive is ideal)
• Prior experience communicating with foreign countries
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally
• Bilingual level Japanese and English (TOEIC 750+)
