フィールドサービス・コミッショニングエンジニア/ Field Service & Commissioning Engineer

A global marine solutions provider is looking for a Global Field Service & Commissioning Engineer. The chosen applicant will be in charge of on-site installation, repair, modification, and troubleshooting of products. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide internal support to other departments including Systems engineering and the Design departments
• Perform routine Maintenance tasks such as Site Surveys, Technical Audits, System Health Checks, Spares Management, Obsolescence Reporting, System and software upgrades
• Assist customers in fault-finding and rectifying problems via telephone, remote access, email etc.
• Conduct in-house testing of products
• Serve as customer technical liaison including conducting System tests and Site tests before acceptance
• Responsible for Customer Factory Acceptance tests and Site Acceptance tests.
• Train customer technical representatives including managers, superintendents, maintenance engineers and operators
• Assist in the development or upgrading of internal service or department procedures and documentation as necessary

Requirements:

• HNC, HND, B.Sc, B.Eng in electronic engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience in electronic engineering (service and commissioning engineering experience in the marine industry or oil & gas sector is preferred
• Demonstrable site-based experience in electronic, electrical, or software (SCADA, PLC or DCS) control or safety systems maintenance, fault finding, repair, modification, testing and commissioning
• Understanding of analogue or digital design, power supplies and distribution annunciators, Networks, comms etc., or PLC/DCS software programming capabilities
• Possess a valid driver’s licence
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally
• Proficient in English
