アプリケーションエンジニア/ Application Engineer

A global industrial solutions company is looking for an Application Engineer. The selected candidate will provide technical expertise, lead customer product development, and support sales growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on products
• Assist territory and account managers in adapting products to customer needs and satisfaction
• Deliver optimal solutions to customers through internal engineering communication
• Lead technical training sessions for customers and distributors
• Develop and maintain knowledge of competitive products and market activity
• Keep management informed of changes affecting product distribution
• Investigate market needs for innovative products and communicate to Engineering
• Maintain high levels of customer service, throughput, and quality, and participate in lean activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
• More than 5 years of experience in hydraulic-related engineering
• Skilled in hydraulic components, including motors, pumps, valves, and electric control systems
• Knowledge of hydraulic circuit and electric circuit reading
• Ability to understand the mobile market and customer needs
• Proficient verbal and written Japanese and English
