レジデントエンジニア / Resident Engineer

A global auto parts company is looking for a Resident Engineer. The selected candidate will coordinate with customers and internal teams to manage wiring harness design, manufacturing feasibility, and engineering activities.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with customer teams
• Collaborate with internal and customer cross-functional teams (CFTs)
• Manage wiring harness manufacturing processes, child parts, and BOM preparation
• Assess manufacturing feasibility and conduct alternate component studies
• Lead harness design and development in collaboration with customers
• Perform value engineering, benchmarking, and design reviews, including DFMEA, PFMEA, and FTA

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a technical domain (electrical or electronic engineering)
• Understanding of pickup truck, passenger car, or SUV electrical systems and component
• Knowledge of complete vehicle design cycle
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and system circuit diagrams
• Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring harness components
• Proficient in 3D-NX or Catia & 2D Software-Zuken, Capital logic and Capital XC
• Business level Japanese; proficient in English
