A renowned logistics company is looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer. The selected candidate will collaborate with sales teams and customers to provide technical support and drive the integration of products into client applications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage technical issues for assigned customers during the sales process
• Develop competitive technical solutions by championing customer needs
• Collaborate with customer R&D teams to facilitate product integration
• Provide in-depth design assistance and support for existing customers
• Document design activities using Salesforce (SFDC)
• Establish strong relationships with customers as a technical expert
• Develop account penetration strategies based on business insights
• Analyse the competitive landscape to differentiate solutions
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely support and execution
• Communicate and report effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related fields
• More than 5 years of experience in microprocessor support or development
• Proven experience with embedded software and technical support
• Knowledge of edge AI, imaging, or communication standards (5G, Bluetooth, UWB, WiFi) is an advantage
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently within Japan and overseas
• Native level Japanese; business level English
