Hardware Engineer

Seeking a Hardware Engineer to design and develop hardware for automation products (PLCs, microcontrollers, digital I/O units) with a focus on Hardware Design, PCB Design, Hardware Testing, and UL/CE Testing. As a Hardware Engineer, you are an experienced professional to develop hardware for a range of automation products, including PLCs, digital input/output units, main microcontrollers, and electronic circuits, while ensuring compliance with functional safety standards such as IC61508. You will execute projects and tasks with a team of engineers (hardware, firmware, mechanical, test), including vendor coordination, supplier interactions, and procurement as needed for project purposes. The role emphasizes expertise in Hardware Design, PCB Design, Hardware Testing, UL/CE Testing, with a strong preference for candidates from industrial automation or process automation domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop circuit and hardware solutions for product applications.
• Define and document the technical architecture of solutions.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and address their requirements.

• Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of circuit design (i.e. PCB) and hardware development processes
• Experience in hardware development for automation products.
• Ability to provide technical suggestions and insights to customers.
