メンテナンスエンジニア/ Maintenance Engineer

An international chemical company is searching for a Maintenance Engineer. The chosen applicant will be responsible for planning and introducing new utilities, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting existing ones.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and introduce new utilities and facilities
• Repair, change and troubleshoot existing utilities and facilities
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance & spare parts management
• Supervise relevant mechanical and piping work when new operation equipment is installed
• Lead various small engineering projects
• Support safety activities of the Engineering and Maintenance Group

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience as a maintenance engineer of machine or piping, or as a project engineer with equipment installation experience in the factory
• More than 3 years of working experience collaborating with sub-contractors or equipment vendors
• More than 2 years of experience in revising and creating equipment standards, technical standards, equipment lists, etc. is preferred
• Experience in quality or process improvement with visible results
• Knowledge of mechanical, chemical, and engineering systems
• Intermediate level skills in MS Office, Google, and other applications
• Work experience in a chemical factory is desirable
• Basic knowledge of quality and improvement (TQC, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.) is preferred
• Possess valid qualifications regarding hazardous materials or high-pressure gasses is a plus
• Proficient in English is advantageous
